On the occasion of International Women's Day – 8th March 2026, Dr.Brindha Skin & Hair Clinic was proud to host a Free Medical Camp for the residents of Highways Colony, Subramaniapuram, Trichy. The camp was held at No.5, Highways Colony, Ponmalaipatti Road, Trichy, and was open to all members of the local community.
The free medical camp offered complimentary skin and hair consultations by Dr. Brindha Thangraj — a qualified Dermatologist and Cosmetologist with over a decade of clinical experience. Patients from all age groups attended the camp, including children, adults, and the elderly, making it a truly inclusive community healthcare event.
Common skin concerns such as acne, pigmentation, melasma, dandruff, hair fall, fungal infections, and eczema were screened and addressed. Personalised treatment advice and prescriptions were provided on the spot. Attendees also received awareness material on preventive skin care, sun protection, and healthy hair habits.
The response from the community was overwhelming. Dozens of families came forward to avail the free consultation, many of whom had long been struggling with skin or hair conditions without access to specialist care. The camp created an opportunity for early diagnosis and timely guidance, which can make a significant difference to patient outcomes.
The event also helped raise awareness about the importance of seeing a qualified dermatologist rather than self-medicating or relying on over-the-counter products for complex skin conditions.
